Oct 18, 2012 · In Windows 8, Services for NFS feature is available only in Windows 8 Enterprise edition and not available in Windows 8 or Windows 8 Pro editions. So, when upgrading from a qualifying Windows 7 edition to any other Windows 8 edition except Windows 8 Enterprise, users will lose the capability to use Services for NFS feature thereby will not be able to access NFS shares.
