I figured out a work around to allow the use of no-ip with the C1100t which has the same interface as the c1000a and has the same issue of only allowing dyndns.com. On the dynamic dns configuration page in the web interface set username, password, and host to the info from your no-ip account.

Feb 06, 2018 · I'm so glad I found this thread. I have ddclient (v3.8.3) running on two routers (Edgerouter Lite & Edgrouter X.) While the dynamic records continue to get updated, as they have for years, my logs are now showing "no response from dynamic.zoneedit.com" entries after an update is attempted. I started noticing this in the logs a couple of weeks ago.
