It's a wonderful product. But as I recall there are MANY D-Link devices out there. And most of them seem to be Ubicom driven.

Feb 07, 2014 · The DIR-655 uses Athero for the wi-fi card but uses a Ubicom chipset to do QoS, etc. Because of this it's unlikely it will ever see support for DD-WRT.

A router can not be supported by dd-wrt if: it is based on a Texas Instruments (TI) chipset it is based on a Marvell chipset (maybe in the future?) it is based on a Ubicom chipset

Jun 26, 2018 · Support for the new Linksys WRT3200ACM [Update: FW avail] October 13, 2016. Linksys provided the technical information and code to implement support for their new WRT3200ACM in DD-WRT. We now have a firt firmware build available! The firmware images can then be obtained via the Router Database.

There are a few DDNS services already integrated into the web interface for DD-WRT, but my favorite, NO-IP isn't one of them. (update: every version > DD-WRT v23 SP2 has it onboard by default.)While I could easily run No-IP.com's Dynamic Update Client to keep my domain name in sync with my WAN IP address one of my desktop machines, I'd much rather have it running on the router.
