Nov 19, 2010 · Its not the Nokia that is the culprit here....Its AT&T that is problem. AT&T customizes the E71 to their needs and sells it as E71x. The support for E71 is provided through the Nokia website. Its easy and free just like you wished for. However, AT&T only releases the next firmware update for Nokia E71x and they do it through their 3g netwok.
