Jun 30, 2012 · I have the Nfinity WZR-HP-G300NH and a 1 TB Buffalo ecosystem external HDD and using the original firmware that came with the system my HDD would mount but i couldnt read anything off it due to the lack of NTFS support. So i read online that dd-wrt would allow that so i updated to the official buffalo dd-wrt and it doesnt support it either.

One other thing that you should take into consideration. The router is running a Linux kernel and NTFS is not a native Linux file system. Unless you really need the disk to be formatted NTFS, you would be better off formatting it as EXT4. The guys over at DD-WRT have proved that the USB disk performance is far better on EXT4 compared with NTFS.
