They seem functionality equivalent, but I don't like the MSTest test runner. It runs in visual studio so it either crowds the screen or is on another monitor getting in the way everytime I tab to visual studio. (I run NUnit on another monitor, but it doesn't cover everything on that monitor everytime I focus visual studio).

As an update, I am currently using Visual Studio Express for Desktop, the VS suite has been completely remodelled since 2010 and more accurately reflects the "big brother".. Unit tests are now available as a built-in feature and works the same way (I haven't tested all functionality) as Visual Studio non-Express.

There is beta release available for Visual Studio 2010. .NET 4.0 support is missing though. When NUnit support for 4.0 is released it is added to Visual Nunit as well.

I use Visual NUnit with Visual Studio 2008 and 2010. It works well and unobtrusively. It is easy to select and run a single test, one fixture worth of tests, one package worth of tests, or all tests in the solution. It is easy to debug a single test (by clicking on the test icon).
