Some days ago, i have found an interesting thing in my Bios, like "Nvidia GPU Ex" and in support i have read, that I would be able to anable it if I have ''Nvidia ForceWare Driver with Nvidia Ex support" What is Ex support, and should I have a special driver or a special geforce?

Feb 13, 2007 · Enable with Optimized NVIDIA Ex Graphics Driver. Requires NVIDIA ForceWare graphics driver with NVIDIA Ex support. The options are Auto and Disabled. If you leave the setting on Auto (the default) the "Select SLI Configuration" under "3D SettingsSet SLI Configuration" disappears, at least it did on my machine. Regards, Fred

Nov 23, 2008 · Do the latest Nvidia 16x.xx series support 'Nvidia GPU Ex' for the nforce 590 chipset? I have an option in the BIOS on my mobo (ASUS Crosshair) to set Nvidia GPU Ex to AUTO or Disable, mine is set to AUTO, but can't seem to find any info in the release notes for 162.18 WHQL and Quadro 162.50 WHQL drivers in nvidias site regarding Nvidia GPU Ex?
