Sep 24, 2002 · I am trying to install Oracle 8.1.6 Client on an XP Pro system. It autostarts and then when I click on install Nothing happens. The machine is a Pentium 4 running Windows XP Pro.

The code was developed to run on OCI8, which became available in Oracle 8.0 and is a customer interface supported by Oracle. Going forward, this will be the only code path in mod_owa. Oracle 8.0 OCI.
