We previously waived Extended Support fees for the first year of Extended Support, so up until 31st January 2016. We have now further extended the fee waiver period until 31 Dec 2018.

Oracle’s Premier Support for Oracle Database Enterprise Edition 12.1 expired in July 2018, as published in Oracle’s Lifetime Support policies for Oracle Technology programs. Although this Premier Support already expired more than 1 year ago, Oracle waived the Extended Support Fees for the period of August 2018 – July 2019.

Jan 29, 2018 · Extended Support ends in 2020. However, you have to pay extra for that. 11.2.0.4 is currently on Extended Support. Normally this is an extra cost option. However, Oracle is currently giving everyone with a valid support contract free ES for 11.2.0.4 until Dec 2018. After that, you will have to pay for ES if you still want to be on 11.2.0.4.

Apr 04, 2017 · On 11.2.0.4 requesting extended support (and paying an extra on support fees) you can extend the support two more years until 31 December of 2020. The more recent Oracle Database 12cR1 have the release 12.1.0.1 out of support now, and the 12.1.0.2 with support without extra fees until July 31 of 2019 and with extra fees until 31 July of 2021.
