    Sep 29, 2012 · Is Oracle seriously suggesting people not configure fencing? I know turning it off simplifies the whitepaper, since there are so many devices out there, but it should at least be mentioned that it needs to be configured before putting the cluster into production.

    Feb 10, 2011 · hello, i want to ask if anyone has experience with installing oracle db standart editon on linux cluster with pacemaker and drbd. for testing we have installed suse cluster with shared /opt/database and /opt/oraInstall over drbd. drbd filesystem is mounted on one node, slave is synced. shared ip and db startup is served by pacemaker. private drbd interchange network is bonded 4x1gbit.
