Aug 11, 2016 · I have tried using the OVH kernel, OVH config, downloading the headers and sources from kernel.org and building against this but the module build fails and even R1Soft are unable to build it agains this configuration so I thought I would approach it from the opposite direction and use the standard CentOS kernel and add the ixgbe drivers in to that.

This often boils down to : do some shopping here : www.kernel.org - set it up (use a config from a most recent OVH kernel - ans activate module support ) compile and build it - install it. Reboot.
