I was able to copy two different s/mime .msi packages from the share drive at work (.mil) and neither got the control to show up in my OWA settings on Chrome. Following up with further instructions from the Chrome Team. It seems that updating OWA to 2013's version restores functionality. Can you folks please give this a try and let me know if this changes anything? If you cannot update due to group policy, please speak with your system admin.
