Jul 25, 2012 · I'm afraid due to massive changes in Lion (Mac OS 10.7) and Mountain Lion (Mac OS 10.8), Parallels Desktop 6 is not compatible with Mountain Lion. And only the latest build of PD 6 is partially compatible with Mac OS 10.7 Lion. However we do not drop support for Parallels Desktop 6 and not going to do it for at least couple of years.

Jul 30, 2012 · Mountain Lion Support for PD6 This is a big disappointment from Parallels. I do understand there will be changes between versions, but to say that such changes are too many and they can't support PD6 on Mountain Lion shows a certain chicanery on the part of the company that want to force users to upgrade even when they are not yet ready to.

Feb 20, 2012 · As for Mountain Lion running on my 2011 iMac at work it's been a dream so far. There are certainly bugs (try going to Finder and clicking "Go" from the menu bar, crashes 100% of the time) but overall I've been very pleased.
