I have seen threads suggesting how to fix thePhysX slowdown in the game which advise deleting certain files files under the "Steam\steamapps\common\mirrors edge\binaries" directory to force the game to use the latest physx drivers to resolve the stuttering when a large number of particles are being processed such as on level 2.

Sep 16, 2012 · What fixed it for me is going into the Mirror's Edge options in the menu, Video, and turning off PhysX. It will require Mirror's Edge to restart. PhysX is Nvidia, but it is a separate program that can run on any card as software. If your card doesn't support it, you can still use it, but it won't be as efficient.

Jul 11, 2016 · Nevermind, I looked at the GeForce list of games and Mirror's Edge Catalyst didn't have a checkmark for PhysX or any other Nvidia technology, going to assume no. Guess I gotta reword the script and re-record the dialogue for that part of the video.

Jan 11, 2019 · Honestly, PhysX doesn't even work on Nvidia using Windows 10. When glass shatters in the game my screen just freezes and eventually the game crashes. I have a PC from 2017 that should run Mirror's Edge without any performance issues.
