Dec 16, 2013 · The 2850 is a 64-bit machine, however, the processors simply do not support VT, which is required for the latest hypervisors and to run 64-bit VM's. You can use ESXi 3.5, which doesn't require VT, but it will be limited to 32-bit guests.

The processor is a 64-bit processor, and Windows 2008 R2 is only a 64-bit operating system, so the hardware is already ready.
