As 4.0 is planned to support JSF 2.1 as well, 2.1 users who can’t migrate to 2.2 in near future can also use these reset enhancements since PrimeFaces 4.0 provides a compatible implementation for both.

Jun 12, 2017 · I may be wrong but PF should work fine with JSF 2.3. However there are some 2.3 features PF wants to implement but for now they are remaining backwards compatible with 2.0-2.2.
