Jul 30, 2009 · it really should be a more standard feature. i think console devs are still a bit scared of giving the end user so much control (the ability to take screenshots of bugs or whatever). i can't speak for PS3, but because custom firmware on PSP allows it with high compatibility, it seems like PSP could have the feature built in to the official firmware

Sep 27, 2015 · I recently learned that the PS3 has a native screenshot utility, but that only certain games support the ability to take in-game screenshots, which are then stored on the hard drive. I can't find much info about this feature in general online.

Can you take screenshots with your PS3? ... some games support the screen shot feature, the only i know of that i have that does it is dirt 2 so far and its a pretty nice feature too
