Mar 23, 2011 · I setup the system to " digital audio in optical" and the sound output was correct. It was dolby 5.1 on Dolby digital sky movies ( the system display even lit up saying "dolby digital") and when i turned it to bbc1 it no longer produced dolby digital as expected. I unplugged the sky hd box optical cable and inserted it into my ps3.

Has anyone else been able to get Dolby 5.1 surround sound via HDMI on their PS4? I can get it via optical audio, but not HDMI. I did not have this issue with PS3. I made sure to change the settings to Bistream Dolby. Does anyone have any insight on this?
