First, create an empty text file called Psychonauts.ini. In that file, put either “language english” or “language french” or “language german” (but without the quotes). Then, for Windows users, copy that file into the same folder as your Psychonauts.exe. For Mac users, you copy it inside your Psychonauts.app. The game minimizes on startup.

Sep 28, 2018 · I just bought Psychonauts for MacOS from the appstore. Unfortunately, the game enters fullscreen, briefly displays the mouse pointer and then crashes immediately with a segfault. This is only a 15" MacBook Pro 2016 with a dedicated Radeon Pro 450 running MacOS 10.14 (Mojave). You can find the stack trace below (truncated at SDL_main). Oct 03, 2011 · Also having the same hang issue in the Oleander training level on the Steam Mac version of Psychonauts. I have a mid-2009 Macbook Pro, 2.26GHz Core2 Duo, NVIDIA 9400M, OSX 10.7.1. I've tried tweaking the graphics settings to no avail. Running the Psychonauts.app binary from a terminal window does not show any console messages at the time it hangs.

Dec 16, 2011 · The patch has been submitted and is waiting for Apple to approve it. Psychonauts does not support Italian or Spanish, sorry. The next update will report correct languages in the App Store. The crash you report is fixed by the App Store update. If you don't want to wait for that, Lion 10.7.2 (released earlier this week) also fixes the crash.
