Mar 10, 2013 · I updated my Quicken for Lion 2007 to the new 16.1.3 update and it started crashing in Lion. I went back to version 16.1.2 and am waiting for Intuit to fix/further update it before I move from 16.1.2, which works fine in Lion and I am told in Mt. Lion. Quicken for Lion 2007 will open data from Quicken 2006 with no conversion needed.

There will doubtless be improvements from Apple, as there always are -- but they can wait if continuing to use Quicken 2007 is important to you. Hopefully, we'll get lucky and Quicken 2007 will sail right along on the new OS, but if it doesn't, and you decide you need Quicken 2007 for awhile longer, then simply refrain from upgrading your Mac OS.

Quicken 2007 won’t run on Lion, and I presume your new machine is Lion, so you’ll be looking at a program, like iBank, that can import CSV or QIF. But Intuit doesn’t make that (much) possible. 4.Your best bet is to use a friend’s computer to run Quicken 2010 or so for Windows on your QDATA file, just to finish the three weeks of the year.

I suggest that you make sure that the subscription for Quicken for Mac will meet your needs, since it is not an upgrade from QM2007 but rather from Quicken Essentials (which was re-written from the ground up, starting in 2010 ...
