Jul 25, 2017 · I have a damaged radiator support on an 2013 Audi TT. The broken piece is not structual and does not interfere with the proper support of the radiator. However I do have a broken piece that I would like to put back in place. The support is plastic but I do not know the material so that I can choose the best welding solvent.

Jun 29, 2018 · It does stabilize a lot of stuff and provide a shroud for the radiator, but for the most part it has no major structural function. Mine was broken driver's side at the top where the bumper bolts on top of it as well as at the bottom corner of radiator and AC condenser.

Mar 09, 2012 · Headlights: Yes; but the upper part of the radiator support is unbroken and sound -- there shouldn't be any lateral movement up there. Lateral movement in lower part: I can see that as a problem, but unless the radiator support is a functional, structural member (for example, keeping the lower part of the fenders from bending inward), a little movement shouldn't be a problem.
