Nov 25, 2014 · I have done a Repair Install of Windows. I have uninstalled and reinstalled my modem driver. I have tried the netsh commands. I have used the troubleshooter to check for faults with IE. Finds no faults. I suspect it is only raw sockets which no longer work because SABnzbd successfully sends its info to localhost:8080.

Apr 29, 2010 · If Windows 7 is preventing you from creating the type of socket you need in the manner you're currently doing it, there must be a reason for it (whether that reason is good or bad). Circumventing the security system doesn't sound like a good approach but that's without knowing anything about the kind of socket you're looking to create.
