Sep 14, 2009 · I am sure many of you heard that Snow Leopard was supposed to have native read/write for NTFS partitions. Apple supported NTFS R/W in older SL builds but I guess decided to not to go with it for some reason, however support is still present.

If you had software installed in Snow Leopard that allowed you to Read and Write to NTFS formatted drives adn now that you have upgraded to Lion and it no longer works that is because either the Lion install wiped out that software oe the version you had is not compatible with Lion.
