When replacing the radiator support, the new support comes as an assembly with the bridging brackets already riveted to the new support. When removing the existing radiator support assembly, remove by cutting the factory spotwelds on the bridging brackets. Do not cut or drill out the bridging brackets at the riveted locations.

Take fan shroud off, lift up radiator and condenser so its off the core support. Remove the lower. When reinstalling new one, slide it under the radiator / condenser and bolt everything back up.

The area it is rusted is down at the bottom by what looks like the front cab mounts so therefore i get some excess vibration/rattle) when driving.

Of the 5, two were integral to the core support and are located on either side of the radiator opening; the remainder can be unbolted and swapped to your new support. If you're using an original '73-'74 grille, the center and outer brackets are usually sufficient for support.
