SenSource Tech Support. The PCDL-1000 Counter Recorder contains a special 3.6 volt Lithium Battery. When the battery is dead the PCDL-1000 will not be recognized by the Count Recorder Software. To test and replace the battery perform the following procedure. Turn the count recorder over and remove the Phillips screw located under the white label.
