Feb 08, 2016 · Hi, I need to forward the information of number of CPU's and Core/CPU's to my manager for licensing purpose. On my windows 2008 server I can see 2 physical processor using systeminfo command, and under the processors tab in Device Manager I see 4 processor.

I wonder if SQL server 2008 Standard 64bit would support 6-core processor since I see that old version of SQL server doesnt support 6 core e.g. SQL 2000 etc. Ha anyone actually done the installation on dual CPU config with the below processor?
