Shwachman Diamond Syndrome is a rare genetic condition that we had never heard of until around 8 years ago when our daughter Isaline was diagnosed as suffering from it. As well as offering support to patients and families in the UK affected by SDS, SDS UK also supports research into the syndrome including important research into leukemia.
