    Unfortunately the Silverlight 4 beta doesn't come with a full 3D API. Here's the relevant feature suggestion at Uservoice if you want to vote for it. But, there's also a cool 3D engine out there called Balder that does software rendering. You should give it a try.

    Certain types of bindings and the full .net framework 4 (I especially miss TPL) is stronger in WPF, but Silverlight 4 already surpassed it in some features, Silverlight 5 will continue to close the gap on existing features and introduce many new ones...
