Jul 20, 2011 · In fact, Sion is only good for Low ELO, or with a good team. Say pure AD Sion and Kayle. Sion attacks like a truck, heals the whole team, while he can't get any damage and just destroys the enemy carry. But he is melee, that's why that isn't viable most of the times either.

Duo carry bot lane means that either one, Kog or Sion will be gold starved, so basically Sion is deemed to play support or Kog's game is ruined. And when comparing supports you can pick much stronger champ than Sion for that specific role.
