There is direct support for the Windows Xbox Controller (Not the same as an Xbox controller, although you can use hacks to allow use of a regular Xbox controller on the computer). I am not aware whether or not there are native support for other controllers; but you could easily set up a profile to ue it with Skyrim.

For the first time I tried playing games with a gamepad (DualShock 4) on my PC and for some games it works really nice. The Witcher as example is a great experience with my gamepad. I thought I could try to play Skyrim also with a gamepad but somehow I do not feel comfortable.
