Oct 02, 2015 · 2. One monitor lights up, SLI is on, other monitor is disabled with no way to enable it from the GUI without losing SLI 3. Both monitors light up with messed-up resolutions, no SLI. The GUI has no way to enable SLI, and fixing the resolutions and saving the config results in SLI being disabled.

Jan 19, 2010 · As far as I know, only Vista and Windows 7 support dual monitors and SLI at the same time. Since you have Windows XP, you are out of luck. I have Windows 7 and GTX-295 and I have no problems using dual monitors and SLI at the same time. When I reboot into my Windows XP partition, I have to disable SLI in order to use the second monitor.

May 30, 2008 · I agree with the others, I doubt you'll see multi-monitor support from Nvidia. So it's either ditch one of your 8800GT's and run a single card or go ahead and enable SLI each time you start a game, then disable it once you're done so you can use both monitors again.

May 17, 2005 · If you have an SLI setup and disable the SLI feature, you can have 4 monitors hooked up. If you want only 2 monitors hooked up, an SLI setup is not needed. All you need is 1 videocard with dual heads. You can choose to extend your desktop, have a bunch of different ones or span (the dual monitors will act as one). The choice is yours.
