XPS rasterization on the GPU. 04/20/2017; 2 minutes to read; In this article. XML Paper Specification (XPS) rasterization on the GPU does not require any independent hardware vendor (IHV) code or behavioral changes in drivers. However, XPS rasterization is a usage pattern that can potentially expose bugs or improper assumptions in driver code.

All DirectX 11+ hardware supports 1. If the hardware can perform full 11_1 target-independent rasterization with RTVs (which requires 16-sample support), then UAV-only MSAA rasterization support is required (meaning 4 and 8 samples in the UAV-only case).

Nov 24, 2016 · All good advices. My best will be try to roll back to a good driver if the latest one causes problems. Sometimes, new drivers make our graphics card go nuts and overheat themselves.

Mar 15, 2018 · Any GCN before Vega has no hardware conservative rasterization, but if i get you guys right you do it in completely in software anyways? Your Approach works like this i guess: Use MSAA and if any of the samples intersects the voxel set it. Chances of a …

Jan 14, 2015 · CUDA Radiosity and hardware rasterizer. Reply. Follow. Hello everyone!:) ... Everything is fine until rasterization... I've tried several different approaches, and neither seems to work with decent speed. I read some threads here and there about software rasterization on CUDA, and it seems like it is not the best idea. ... There's no access to ...

Some Conservative Rasterization implementations are not capable of only rasterizing guaranteed-to-be-fully-covered pixels. To support the most hardware, this mode of rasterization behavior is not yet available, but the same information can be conveyed by using the …

Target Independent Rasterization requires hardware support so we can not make DX11 GPUs fully DX11.1 complaint. DX11.1 for the most part is a very small subset of DX11. Thanks for the answer manuelg, I appreciate it. As far as I know the target independent rasterization is a feature related to antialias that we can forbear.
