Jan 31, 2014 · Trim is not supported on Solaris 10. I believe Solaris 11 supports Trim with ZFS, but not with SVM. Without Trim, I suggest reserving 10-15% of the drive, so the SSD's garbage collection can be more effective at reducing write amplification.
