Temp readouts OK, unable to pick up fan detection though. Worth noting that the only PWM outlet is the CPU_FAN on the motherboard itself. While the other outlets look like they're PWN due to their 4 pins, the 4th pin is actually doing nothing at all.

I set my fans up now, and they work great for me too (I have a Z87-A). I have the same thing with the last fan. The CPU temp seems correct, but it doesn't use the digital sensor that reacts to core temps instantly, which is good for me as my fans kept spinning up and down with the AI Suite 3 due to that.

This is a subset of the hardware that SpeedFan can properly work with. Please note that this is not the listing of the motherboards where SpeedFan is able to access readings from temperature sensors and S.M.A.R.T. hard disks. As an hardware monitoring tool, SpeedFan can work almost on every hardware.

It took a few months before SpeedFan was updated with support for the P8P67 Pro. As we mentioned earlier, SpeedFan gathers some data directly from components like the CPU, GPU, and hard drive.

May 30, 2012 · This is a relatively simple guide to help you setup Speedfan to control fans on EVGA motherboards. Another thing is, that Asus motherboards don't support SpeedFan, it's not working there. My friend with MSI ZPower MAX can run with speedfan noctua fans at 300rpm and less. Here is the other way around, Speedfan is a great software but depends on updates to be able to recognize the sensors on motherboards thus allowing control for the user.

Did you try contacting to retailer or the tech. support? Also don't use Speedfan for monitoring. That 128C is same on all mobos that uses Nuvoton chips. Apparently these chips are confusing some of those softwares. Use coretemp, realtemp, HWInfo or MSI Control Center to monitor stuff since they get the signals from Intel's diodes for temp ...
