I can do https requests to my server without a problem. Also I have made sure that: extension=php_openssl.dll is present and uncommented in my php.ini

May 23, 2013 · I would just like to say that I was having this problem as well. The Fedex shipping options was not displaying. Finally looked at the log and found this errror -> SSL support is not available in this build. Searched, found this post and enabled the php_openssl extension. It worked. So happy, I took the time to comment here. Many thanks

If I try to save the WSDL locally and access it then, the SoapFault->faultstring property has the message "SSL support is not available in this build". After some Googling, seems like PHP SOAP cannot connect to a HTTPS source. HTTP is OK, though. Is there a workaround for this? Or is there an alternative SOAP version/module I can install?

Jan 14, 2010 · Referring to comment #5, these lines do not look familiar to me from phpinfo(). It looks like xampp is reporting on your server environment. My guess is the reference to openssl there refer to apache's support for mod_ssl and openssl.

already got the answer. turns out mongodb in cosmos using version 3.x that should using driver 1.4.4 and cannot using 1.5.x. once libmongoc SSL => enabled when installed openssh-devel first then install mongodb-1.4.4, the SSL connection is good and the problem is not showing again. cheers.

But the main PHP is not linked with the ssl libs (win32 binaries provided by php.net) so of course the SSL support is not available...Edin is looking into this so assigning to him.
