May 02, 2013 · I'm finding this absolutely hard to believe, but from everything I'm reading, Symantec Backup Exec still doesn't support Windows Server 2012? I just got done migrating about 2TB's worth of data to a new Server 2012 file server.

Aug 09, 2013 · Excellent Service Pack 2 for Symantec Backup Exec, remote agent for Server 2012 works a treat, also improved my write speed to 5.6GB/Min (95MB/s) from 1.8GB/Min (30MB/s) All backups are now 100% complete, compression ratio seems good but will obviously vary (compression is hardware done via tape drive), all data is 100% recoverable from the tapes.
