The reason could be that the T7400 processor is a SL9SK model which may not recongised by the bios (latest firmware version) or M1210 motherboard.

Jun 24, 2010 · Did you perchance attempt to upgrade your Dell system with a new core 2 Duo processor? The fact that the processor fits the socket is not sufficient. Both the motherboard circuitry and the BIOS must also support the new processor, or you'll get that "system does not support the installed processor" message.

Feb 19, 2017 · They upgraded it free to a FX 4350 rated at 4.2 GHz but it is only running at 2.81 GHz now. Have sent them this boot message I get ever time it boots " The current system does not support the cpu. If you wish to continue, the cpu will be underclocked to maintain system stability " and have asked what they can do to fix it.
