Jun 24, 2010 · Did you perchance attempt to upgrade your Dell system with a new core 2 Duo processor? The fact that the processor fits the socket is not sufficient. Both the motherboard circuitry and the BIOS must also support the new processor, or you'll get that "system does not support the installed processor" message.

Feb 19, 2017 · I bought a bare bones pc (no hard drive, no dvd, no os) originally was a FX 4300 cpu that was rated at 4 GHz but it was 3.8 so I returned it. They upgraded it free to a FX 4350 rated at 4.2 GHz but it is only running at 2.81 GHz now. Have sent them this boot message I get ever time it boots " The current system does not support the cpu.

The reason could be that the T7400 processor is a SL9SK model which may not recongised by the bios (latest firmware version) or M1210 motherboard.
