Then I saw in the Internet setup section on the modem router that the login was set to <username>@direct.teltra.net not direct.telstra.net. Searching for direct.teltra.net on the Bigpond support pages I got no hits, so I am wondering why the phone line has still connected if the domain part of the user login is incorrect?
