Jul 16, 2009 · The top most selection will display the current driver and if you installed any other drivers there will be a drop down menu. Select the ASIO4ALL driver for EDIT VIEW, MULTI TRACK VIEW, and SOUND RECORDER and this should clear the "non-support" message.

I am reinstalling Adobe Premiere Pro CS3 on a new computer but get the message "The currently installed soundcard driver does not support DirectSound Input. Recording audio is not possible". I have noted comments on similar sound problems elsewhere but have not seen anything that seems to solve this problem.

Jun 10, 2008 · Anyway, it comes with Cubase LE (recording software by Steinberg) and I installed the Audiobox and Cubase LE. When I loaded Cubase LE I got the message "The currently installed soundcard driver does not support Direct Sound Input. Recording audio is not possible." I am using a new computer running on windows Vista.

I am using a Gateway All In One computer with Microsoft 7 OS. I have recently noticed the sound is gone and a X appears above the sound icon indicating No audio input device installed. I have tried installing the drivers which did not solve the problem.Does anyone have the step to fix this problem?
