Feb 04, 2017 · The AT&T Gateway does not support UPnP or NAT-PMP. These allow applications inside your network to open holes in your firewall without authentication. They are terribily insecure protocols and make your network ripe for exploits by malware and nefarious individuals.

Dec 31, 2011 · I'm not sure what you are trying to accomplish exactly, perhaps if you explained more fully? Sonicwalls don't support UPnP. Linksys does, but since you did not say what exact router model you have, it's impossible to say for sure or give directions to activate it. If you are directly connected to the cable modem, there's no UPnP there either.

Dec 21, 2019 · I get the same message of 'UPnP gateway not found / doesn't supprt forwarding, use manual set up' I have checked the settings on my router and UPnP is enabled - would anybody please be able to advise how to resolve this issue - to somebody who isn't really very knowledgable on all this 'port forwarding' etc !!!

Sep 08, 2011 · In fact, it isn't giving me any grief about Transmission. I have not tried manually PF'ing. Haven't needed to for the past year and a half that I've been using Transmission... or the past several months that I've been using LS... I may also need to mention that Transmission has started crashing randomly within the past few days.

Re: Universal Plug and Play and Back to My Mac Unfortunately, the SMC gateway does not support UPnP or NAT-PMP, either of which are, apparently, required for Back to My Mac. The Cisco DPC3939B, however, DOES support UPnP.
