The Microsoft JDBC Driver for SQL Server will not force SQL Server to support TLS encryption. If the server has a self-signed certificate, the driver initiates the TLS certificate exchange. The TLS certificate will not be validated and only the credentials (in the login packet) are encrypted.

Aug 25, 2018 · Under Outgoing Mail Server, make sure that My server requires authentication is checked. Click Apply , and then OK to close the Properties window. What this does is disables the SSL connection for your account, and you can send and receive mails without any problems now.

I've run SSL Labs test and it reports a warning that This server does not support Authenticated encryption (AEAD) cipher suites. Grade will be capped to B from March 2018. Mar 26, 2007 · Are you running the IIS built-in SMTP-server or Exchange (or other external smpt-server)? Reason for the question is that I'm not quite sure how IIS does with the SMTP-server that's builtin when you install a server certificate for the Web server.
