An excerpt from know issues with Toad 9.6: Toad's data layer does not support UTF8 / Unicode data. Most non-ASCII characters will display as question marks in the data grid and should not produce any conversion errors except in Toad Reports. May 11, 2006 · We had the same problem and we bought "TOAD for International", which is TOAD 7.5.4.17 with unicode support. This works fine. I'd like to have some of the TOAD 8.* features as well, but unicode support is more important for me.
