I guess my original query sparked a lot of concerns out there in TomTom land. I inserted a new 16 GB SDHC 10 sandisk. The ONLY way I can get the device (Via 1435) to recognize it is to hold it down in its slot. If I release it it does not recognize it. It juts out of the slot maybe 2-3 mm when not pressing on it. Jul 27, 2015 · I'm getting not so concrete answers from Tom Tom support about exactly how big of a SDHC card my 730T will support. First the girl said it won't take SDHC cards - then she said it would but only 4gb - when I pressed her about 8gb, 16gb or 32gb SDHC cards she did say it could "accept" an 8gb SDHC but it may be problematic.
