Nov 29, 2016 · I can use the IIyama monitor via DVI directly so my guess is that it just doesn't support this Displayport to DVI connector. I will try a HDMI to displayport connector this evening and see if things change. I don't have a Displayport monitor so I can't test if it's the adapter or the displayport on my graphics card that Linux Mint doesn't like.
