FOCUS is run by three student coordinators who meet throughout the academic year and work in the summer to plan a memorable experience for first-year students. They work with our community partners to plan service projects, choose and train the rest of our student staff, and communicate with all interested incoming first years about the program.

FOCUS is a five-day program for incoming first-years who are interested in participating in community service while getting to know the Greater Boston Area, Tufts and their fellow students. During FOCUS, you’ll work on local service projects in an area of your interest along with a group with other incoming students and two upperclassmen leaders.
