Also note that tvtime does not have the ability to change channels on these cards: you must use an external program to control the input to tvtime.

Almost all features of tvtime can be configured through the menu system. Click the right mouse button, or hit tab when you run tvtime to bring up the menu. I'm trying to use it with tvtime, but I don't seem to be able to tune to any channels. How does this work with an application like tvtime? That is, does tvtime use the V4L tuner API to change channels, or do you need to use a separate app, or what? I use vdr-1.2.4 for tuning and recording.

Hello Ruediger, I use the DVB-driver (from CVS) together with vdr-1.1.33 and tvtime-0.9.9. DVB-Tv functions fine except the colors are wrong.
