Oct 21, 2007 · Oh yeah, you need to turn power off at power supply switch back of computer case, unplug AC power plug from wall or back of computer, and use grounding wrist strap or carefully ground yourself to unpainted part of computer case for awhile (not sure how long) before handling the internal components of computer which are sensitive to Electro Static Discharge (ESD).
