I use ubuntu 16.04. My Vim doesn't have Python support. The thing is that I installed vim, vim-gnome, vim-nox, I surfed net for hours and tried to build vim from source, I deleted some stuff like vim-tiny and ubuntu-minimal, whatever I did - nothing worked.. Interestingly, the Vim help page I linked above mentions editing vim.exe and searching for a python dll string. I couldn't find one in my vim.exe. I've confirmed that both Vim and Python are 32 bit. Vim by checking the :ver command and Python by calling sys.version from a Python command prompt.

Hi guys, been using Vim for a quite long time now, I just acquired a new macbook pro and tried to install vim with brew: brew install python brew install vim. But it doesn't come with python3 support (If I do vim --helpor vim --version python3 doesn't have the plus sign). And because of that, now I can't use some plugins.
