    What is the level of SMP support in Virtualbox: . Can it use multiple CPUs available on a machine? . Does the guest OS see all the CPUs available on a machine? . Can it emulate a SMP system for the guest OS running on a single CPU host? Thanks, Milind

    Hi! I'd like to apologize for my bad English. I'm using a 2 Quad Core Desktop running Vista-64 host OS (8 cores total). I have very nice perfomance with 2 CPU guests, but as I add more CPUs to a VM, my windows guests become more and more slow.

    We have applications running within the VirtualBox, which are enabled for use of SMP and therefore really benefit from SMP support. Our VirtualBox is offered to SunRay users. Limiting the VirtualBox to a single process as current state is a drawback and is throttling down these applications compared to standard desktop PCs with multicore CPUs..
